It's always a cool, casual vibe at this place. I recently dined in for Saturday brunch. I ordered their delicious, decadent Bananas Foster French Toast with scrambled eggs. The toast was a real treat and burst with flavor. I received excellent service from Savanagh, my waitress. The food is always fresh to order when I visit. There is plenty of seating with some seating on the outside patio as well. This place is great for fun crowds, big or small. Bar seating is available.

Relaxed atmosphere with friendly waitstaff. Our food came out quickly! We did the mimosa carafe which ended up being plenty for 2 to share. The bottle of Prosecco comes with your choice of 2 juices. I chose the Lemon Pepper Fish & Chips with a side of Brussels. The fish was good. The coleslaw is missing something, but I couldn't put my finger on it. It was creamy, but bland.

I've visited BoxCar twice. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Both times I visited I ordered the happy hour fried Brussel sprouts, buffalo chicken meatballs, and margarita. The Brussel sprouts are good, but I will ask for less sauce next time. The buffalo chicken meatballs are my favorite. The portion size is perfect for one person and they have the perfect crunch and just the right amount of spice. I don't like blue cheese, but their blue cheese pairs well with the meatballs. Michael was my waiter and he made great recommendations despite me ordering my go to, checked on me often, and made sure that I received my food and margarita in a timely fashion. I will definitely go back to try other menu items, the beer, and to enjoy the ambiance.

The food was AMAZING TODAY! I hadn't been to eat at the establishment due to the menu change. However, the server Josh recommended the Mango, Tomato, Basil Bruschetta. It was a great choice! I will definitely start coming back weekly to eat!

Boxcar is a lively vibrant place to visit. The menu has a good mix of meal varieties. From salads to burgers (both meat and vegetarian), sides, etc. Plus a full bar for almost any drink preference. I normally get the Falafel bowl, but it's been a while since I've been, and it's no longer on the menu. So, tonight, I decided to have their "Hooked on Fish-Wich" sandwich; a haddock fish sandwich, that comes with with coleslaw and hobo sauce on a potato bun. This was a very fresh and tasty fish sandwich. Haddock is a naturally small fish, so I thought the sandwich would have a little more fish on it for the price, but overall it was good and still worth the visit.
