Went to the Darst Center for a week long service immersion trip through my college. I was disappointed to see not a single POC on the staff. Despite the fact that our trip was advertised as a School to Prison Pipeline trip, only two of our sites had direct involvement with schools and the criminal justice system. Staff was inconsiderate to the different viewpoints of many of those on our trips and unwilling to accommodate different needs. The program has a lot of potential, but needs a lot of work to be successful.

The new building has very comfortable accommodations - you can see that a lot of work was put into it. I really enjoyed the retreat, it provided a lot of food for thought and new perspective on social issues. The different things we saw and did were well-spaced out, which provided ample time to think and process. Keith and Danny are doing an amazing job and I am so grateful that I got to help!

'Hilton Standard' at your grandma's house. This place has such a warm, homey atmosphere. This is not a five-star hotel, but it's a place you can feel comfortable.
