In town from Tucson, visiting family and decided to stop in for an early birthday dinner for my wife. The place is amazing. Casually Cool. We were seated outside on the patio, and it was perfect. My wife's ribs were unreal. Meat fell off the bone, and my shrimp scampi was excellent. Our dessert choices were banana cream and lemon meringue pies. Both were delicious, but since we couldn't take any leftovers, Ray L, our sever refused to let my wife go home empty-handed for her birthday and gave her some macaroons to go. It was such a very nice gesture to go along with top-notch service. We HIGHLY recommend you try Buck and Rider! Ask for Ray L. You won't be disappointed.

Our first visit to B&R, and certainly not our last! We dined in before a concert and had a great experience. We originally wanted to go for happy hour, but happy hour is only in the bar area and they were completely packed. We sat in regular dining and ordered a couple different appetizers and items from the raw bar. I can definitely say everything we had was very good, in particular the crispy rice and the raw scallops.

Ok, I've eaten seafood everywhere and this is best overall seafood experience. Another place in Galveston had the best cooked oysters but this place has the best of everything else. I can't even describe how amazing every single thing was.

My husband took me here tonight for my birthday. It was our first time here and it won't be the last. The atmosphere was lovely, the food was delightful, and the service was impeccable. Aímee, our waitress, was apot on; even helping create a delicious mocktail for us because we don't drink alcohol.
