I mainly stop in to get my ice skates sharpened and it’s been great every time. Really the only place in this area to get a sharpen, otherwise you’re driving out to Scottsdale, Mesa, Peoria etc. Everyone has always been super friendly and helpful when I come in and are able to sharpen while I browse - usually takes about 10 minutes. They run a Sparx sharpener and I believe have a 1/2 and 5/8 wheels (have used both) price is perfect and they do a fantastic job. Solidly recommend!

Chad, your response only confirms the tone and attitude I experienced firsthand. Instead of taking accountability for your poor customer service, you doubled down with deflection and personal attacks. I wasn’t “arguing,” I was asking basic questions about shipping—questions that any business should be able to handle professionally. Your employee wasn’t mistreated—I simply asked for clarification after getting vague and dismissive responses. Then you got on the phone and made it worse. You absolutely mentioned how time-consuming it would be to “custom make a box” and strongly implied the labor cost would make it unreasonable—whether you said “$80–$120” or not, the sentiment was clear: you didn’t want to bother with it, and you spoke to me like my business didn’t matter. Calling out poor service is not “lying.” It’s giving other potential customers a heads-up. If this is how you treat people who ask legitimate questions, I stand by every word of my review. Instead of accusing your customers of dishonesty, maybe take a hard look at how you’re running your business. — CHAD is Absolutely terrible with his customer service skills. His name suits his attitude perfectly. lol. Chad (The owner) was incredibly rude and dismissive from the start. I tried to buy a simple pair of lightweight ski poles online so I called for the shipping price and asked straightforward questions about their shipping process. Instead of helpful answers, I got cut off repeatedly and talked down to. He said he doesn't like to ship items that are very used, even though I saw the photos and accepted the beat up condition of the poles. He then (created another excuse) and bizarrely claimed it would take 45 minutes to make a box and wanted to charge me $80-$120 for labor--just to ship ski poles. He insisted they "ship all the time," but clearly haven't figured out how to do it efficiently. Shipping should've been $15-$26, not a full-blown meltdown. Save yourself the headache and shop literally anywhere else. I can get the same poles on EBay for only $12-$28 shipping cost. What a lazy joke this guy is.

Had a great experience ordering from CS Sporting Goods. I picked up a used lantern, and it arrived in perfect condition — everything works like a charm. Really appreciate the solid communication and care they clearly put into packing and shipping. It’s refreshing to see a small business with such a solid selection of used gear. Looking forward to checking out the store in Phoenix in person soon. Thanks again!

I visited that store yesterday. It has a very impressive stock of sports merchandise. I bought a pair of ski poles and a skateboard . The clerks were very helpful. I even got 10% off. Overall the inside is very clean. The outside part of the store has anything related to mountain biking. It has a large inventory of snowboarding stuff, new and used at reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

The sweetest crew works here. They’re so nice and professional. They were so gentle when putting an exercise piece of equipment into my car. Didn’t think it would fit but we managed. I wish it wasn’t so far from me. I’d be here everyday. My Son left his jacket here and they offered to ship it back to me. 🥹very great crew you guys got working for you. I’m so happy with my purchase of my reformer. Looks fantastic in my gym & can’t beat the price I paid.
