We had a great time at Cafe Monet! The 6-year old loved painting a unicorn piggy bank but was finished quite awhile before the adults. Luckily, we were able to bribe her into staying calm while we finished by purchasing a snack that Cafe Monet had available.

Had a terrific time. Great instruction from Caroline. I had never used a pottery wheel before and was able to make two really nice pieces worthy of glazing and taking home. Highly recommend for a fun, creative outing with friends or family.

We came in today for our anniversary, to do some hand building. It was the first time for my partner and it had been a few years for me. Cato was AMAZING, they made us feel so welcome, they had us laughing the whole time, and made even our silly mugs feel like the coolest things they had seen. They are the type of person who has found exactly the job they shine in. Truly, the best experience I’ve ever had in one of these settings. Their wife came and spoke with us, and we have already spoken to our friend with differing needs about how excited we are to bring them to try out ceramics. The way the whole staff made each group that came in feel like they were invested in was so much fun to watch. I’m so glad we found this studio, and the friends we made while there. They all deserve a raise!

I signed up for the Try It class as part of the RIO Austin Bucket list cards. I have always wanted to try making pottery. Ryleigh was such a great instructor! She took time to explain things and helped guide us if we struggled with navigating the clay on the wheel. I learned a lot and had fun making my bowl. Can’t wait to pick it up! Thanks for a fun first experience at pottery making!
