I go here all the time while studying or reading for pleasure. While it does get a bit loud on the first floor in the afternoon/evening, they are pretty good about keeping the second floor completely quiet. They also offer Chromebook loan services, which was a life saver for me when my laptop died, and even included a charger and mouse. I've never had a bad experience, and it's very close to coffee/food options if you need a snack break during your times.

She’s always kind & engages with the children but today she went above and beyond assisting us with a Mother’s Day project! A beautiful modern building (that cost the city way more than it should have) that is largely skewed towards teenagers and young adults because of its proximity to the municipal Middle High School. Most of the staff is very friendly and helpful (and stripes very hard to cover all possible variations of dei), and there is an abundance of amenities including public computers, printers, and various conference rooms. There's a substantial selection of books however the DVD movie selection is rather limited ; but since Cambridge Public library is part of the Minuteman library network, there is online access to movies from over a hundred other libraries. If only out of support for the beautiful institution that these public libraries are, I encourage everyone to not subscribe to Netflix or Amazon or any online streaming services, but rather to take the effort to walk to take their books or DVDs from the public library.
