Myself and my husband found this little gem by chance when in Seattle a few weeks ago. We were visiting Pike Market and spotted the Can Can sign and popped in to have a look. We were immediately met by a lovely member of their team who invited us in and offered to show us around - they have an indoor and outdoor bar/terrace - and into their theatre of which he was immensely proud! And we were immediately enchanted. It is like a magical jewel box when you enter and hints at the entertainment provided. We were intrigued and I really wanted to see more. We were very lucky - they had just a couple of seats left - and although we were a little concerned at the view we would have - they were the nearest to the door - we were assured that all seats had a great view, so we took a few minutes to think about it and decided to give it a whirl! And we are so glad we did! On arrival they actually found us an even better spot and quickly settled us in. (In hindsight it was clear that ALL seats had a great view) The waitstaff were lovely and full of chat! They explained the menu (lots to choose from at all price points) and got us a drink. The food was brought just before the show started and was delicious - we each had their Burger - really excellent!! The show was just brilliant - the dancers were fantastic and the show was fun and irreverent. The lighting, costumes and props were all top class and the whole evening entertaining and enjoyable. My server, unfortunately, provided inconsistent and inattentive service. I repeatedly needed to request assistance, and her explanation of pricing and billing procedures was inadequate, especially considering this was my first visit and I had purchased the VIP package. The VIP package description should clearly delineate which items are included and which are extra-cost options to avoid any misunderstandings. Furthermore, I felt unfairly reprimanded for taking a photograph of my meal, a misunderstanding that could have been easily avoided with clearer communication. The additional cost of drinks and appetizers, not included in the advertised VIP experience, made the overall cost unexpectedly high. If gratuity wasn’t required, she wouldn’t have received any tip from me based on the service she provided. Despite these negative aspects, I must acknowledge the positive experiences. Several other servers were exemplary, providing excellent and attentive service. The quality of the food and beverages was outstanding, and the performance itself was captivating and engaging, deserving a rating of 9 out of 10. However, increased diversity within the cast would further enhance the production. I also appreciate the opportunity to socialize and connect with other patrons. If you're looking for a fun night out with a live performance, the Can Can is the place to be. The food was exceptional (I only got one picture of the food before the show started), and the show was even better. You won't be disappointed—you’ll be entertained from start to finish. The wait staff were extremely nice, adding to the overall experience. The ambiance of the bar when you walk in is inviting and super fun. I didn't even realize the bar was there, so next time I'm at Pike Place, I'll definitely stop in for a drink. Inside the Can Can area where the show takes place, the atmosphere is lively and enjoyable. All the seats offer a great view, ensuring you don't miss a moment of the performance.
