Walking in at 1 am, there was a large college crowd, and gen-z nostalgia hits playing one after another. The drinks were okay, especially at $20 each. Some group dancing next to us has spilled beer on the floor and on us, but we were too into dancing ourselves to care. The people working the front have been welcoming and kind, as we left 20 minutes to 2. As the music got a bit stale and the bar almost empty, on the way out, we took a couple of pictures with the camera in the hallway and received them on our email. I'm pretty sure they display the pictures you take in the bar itself, on the screens. While when we took a selfie at the bar, the bartender told us to take another one and gave us some light for a better shot. Overall, friendly service, overpriced drinks, and nostalgia inducing songs made it a good place to stop by for 1 drink and a couple pictures only. Would recommend to students or recent graduates who are looking for a trendy place to go dancing and drinking.

From Sneakers to Stilettos! For 20+ years Candleroom bar has been welcoming those craving upbeat entertainment, from diverse demographics, offering different genres of music throughout their week. Similar to many clubs/lounges in Dallas, Miami Vibes are now promoted, complete with flared bottle service, and LED Presenter Signs. Although the layout, nor design offer anything awe inspiring, Candleroom Dallas maintain’s a certain level of nightlife charm. Never a fan of armless banquette, or bench like seating that encourage squatting on their backs, nor non-clearly defined reserved areas, especially when little common area is available for partiers. I am however a huge fan of bartenders such as Whitney, who have years with an establishment, share their history, and make you feel right at home. Because sharing is caring, I’ll share this partier beware; because of aforementioned design details, it’s incredibly important to have well trained, and respectful security. Candleroom Dallas absolutely has some work to do in this area, and recognize there are reasons patrons grace your doors, or not! Xoxo Lorenzo!

Really sad this place sucks because the inside is so pretty. They claim to be 21+ but everyone in there was around the age of 16-18 years old. While I waited in line, a group of girls were talking about their fakes being good and that they will be able to get in. 😭

We hosted our annual Christmas Party - Naughty or Nice - at the Candleroom for the first time this year and it exceeded expectations. The staff and owners were amazing and very responsive from start to finish. Tommy is friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the venue and all of the options they have available for a private event (including vendors, caterers, DJ’s). A special thanks to the exceptional bartenders - Whitney, Shawn, and Stefan - for making our event so special and for keeping the libations flowing without a wait whatsoever. Olivia was remarkable- she went above and beyond to take care of our every need! Thank you, Chauncey, for the kind, hospitable greetings you had with our guests at the door; you’re a class act. The DJ and Light crew asked what we wanted and they delivered on every level. We cannot wait to host our next event with this venue and all-around magnificent crew!
