5 stars for sure! Good stuff and made at the time of order, so no soggy shells (unlike other places). If I live remotely near here I would be a regular customer, but luckily for my pancreas I don’t. If you do live near here or are visiting the area and want a walk, it’s certainly worth a visit. If I hadn’t already had a decent amount of sugar the day I went, I would have gotten more than 2, but as it was I felt two was already pushing it. I got the classic chocolate chip and the chocolate overload. The chocolate chip was way better than the chocolate overload, so get two of the chocolate chip rather than one of each like I did.

I checked out this new cannoli shop in South Lake Union. I was in a pistachio mood, so I tried the pistachio affogato and a pistachio cannolo. The cannolo cream was similar to what I had in Italy. The affogato was nice as well. My main feedback for the shop would be to brighten the decor and make it more fun and inviting. I was a little surprised when I walked in at how much white and gray is in the shop, apart from a grass wall in the back. I think it could benefit from more colorful decor to make it feel like a dessert shop.

We stopped by Connolo late last night around 10:30 PM, just before they closed at 11. Parking was a bit tricky, we had to circle the block a few times, but eventually found a spot across the street. The shop itself is super clean, charming, and cozy. The front cashier was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which really elevated the whole experience. We ordered two pistachio cannolis and two pistachio cappuccinos to go, totaling $40. We made it out just five minutes before closing. Overall, I’d definitely recommend checking it out, even if it’s a little on the pricey side. The quality and service made it worth it!

Pistachio Affogato is an absolutely phenomenal treat. The espresso was poured perfectly and the gelato was smooth and rich. I highly recommend this treat. We scarfed down the delectable cannoli before I could get a picture. Also worth every calorie!
