Always great to visit an old friend! My family has eaten at Carl's many times since the 1970's. One of the old neighborhood's favorites. Great they are still doing it right. We had lunch specials on most recent visit. All delicious. Service was knowledgeable, attentive and fast.

I really wanted to like this place being from the neighborhood and knowing its history. I ordered a standard pepperoni pizza and unfortunately it just wasn’t that good. Sauce was fine but dough was way too cardboardish. So much good pizza has popped up (h&pies, blue pan, cosmos, sexy pizza, etc) that the nostalgia just wasn’t worth it. I will say the service and workers were very friendly and attentive.

Carl's has been here forever. I remember going as a kid nearly 35 years ago. That said I don't think the place has changed any since then. My wife and I shared a large pizza. It was very good. Our server was great!

We had spaghetti and meatballs and eggplant Parmesan and it was delicious. The salad was fresh, the waitress was friendly and I was as usual pleasantly surprise. I worked for Karl DiGiacomo back in 1970 along with his son’s Gary and Jack. The place remains the same,it’s almost like coming home. I so enjoyed myself and my girlfriend Nancy🌸 and I try to meet there at least once a year because we work there together years ago. I will always love Karl’s pizzeria.
