Fun skate spot! Lots of banks and fun quick lines. Crazy pool in the back if you're looking to ride a 10+ foot deep monster. Lights stay on until 9pm, but a little birdy told me there's ways to skate there later in the evening. Bathrooms lock up at 9pm too and are possibly the worst smelling in the whole county... Right next to the North Western San Diego Police Sub-Station, so it has that kind of feeling, but the cops are usually not worried about the skatepark. Lots of coyotes late at night, has a vibe to it.

I agree, it is better than no skatepark. This park is not fun. Too deep. Only 7 foot brick banks(way too tall) in the flow area. Worst design and waste of money . There are some skateable spots. There should be an intermediate snakerun section and a 3 foot high pyramid to ollie over. The big bowl is so deep you may want to bring climbing gear and safety ropes to get out of it with. I think the bowl was made for/by professional skaters. I would be surprised if there were more than 10 people in a 100 mile radius that would consider skating this big bowl as "fun" . If you like this big bowl, please chime in. This bowl is work . They need to fill it in to reduce it down to something with a little bit of noping/roll in area and make it 8 feet deep with a 10 foot radius and leave an advanced pocket with vert. This deep bowl/pool is a possible 600,000+ mistake of a bowl. What sober person skates this? Who planned this park? This park makes people not want to skate. It is too advanced and boring.

Really great spot. One really huge bowl and a really well designed rest of the park which is good for beginners and experts. Can be pretty crowded at times but if you find a good time to go it’s an awesome time. If you’re in the area this is a spot to check out for sure.
