The food here tastes good. The meat is tender, the vegetables are so fresh, and so does the service. But it is not reasonable to charge 3% wage and welfare from the customers, it should be the owner’s responsibility instead of the customers. The tips are also charged based on the value of the after tax including 3% wage and welfare. You’d better pay close attention to your bills.

Best Paella in the Bay Area! The atmosphere is great—quiet, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The popular lobster paella is loaded with seafood, super flavorful, and comes in a huge portion. It’s a little on the salty side, but nothing that some ice water can’t fix! 😂 The grilled lamb chops are also amazing—super tender and juicy. I’ll definitely be back!

Awesome service, great food! Salmon ceviche is the best! Various tapas to choose from, or you can order a sampler which we did. The outdoor patio is nice and with big sun umbrella you don’t have to worry about getting too much sun exposure.

The environment and service were good. However, food is a bit plain in taste. We tried the paella, leaf chicke, and eggplant. They look special but the flavors were not memorable. A bit pricey overall.

It was a very nice atmosphere with a live band playing. The food is great. I thought the tapas would be small plates, but honestly those portions could be shared with four people. Got a go box home. The fresh burrata was amazing. Sangria was good but not particularly strong. The music is loud so if you want to have deep Conversation it would be better to sit outside on patio.

Their carefully curated cheese plates and sides, such as Patatas Bravas or grilled shishito peppers, provide additional ways for groups to customize the dining experience and add layers of enjoyment.

The staff, while occasionally noted to have varying speeds, generally receive praise for friendliness and helpfulness during off-peak hours, which can make group events run smoothly. The fact that gratuities and tips for larger parties are handled clearly reduces stress during billing, and the management’s honesty adds trustworthiness to the experience. Cascal’s size and seating flexibility allow both smaller gatherings and larger groups of 10 or more to feel accommodated without losing the energetic vibe that makes group dining so pleasurable.
