Hosted a Seattle based company's Holiday Party here in January 2025. Space was fantastic and exactly what we were looking for. The ambiance is perfect for an upscale event and the addition of all of the candles really helps set the mood. Kitchen and bar space were perfect and I loved being able to bring in the caterer/bar team of my choosing at no additional cost. Nate and the whole Cathedral team were so helpful and great to work with. The onsite staff for the evening were communicative and went above and beyond to ensure the event went off without a hitch. Would definitely host here again! & a huge bonus that the cost is donated - we loved that.

We had the most wonderful experience having our wedding at Cathedral Ballard! The space was incredibly bright due to the huge windows, the exposed brick was lovely, and the candles were stunning. This venue is exceptional for so many reasons: not only is it a non-profit venue, but they light over 100 candles for your event and provide so many things that you would typically need to rent at other venues (chairs, tables, glassware, etc.). Also there are so many things for your guests to do in downtown Ballard if your wedding is mainly out-of-town guests like ours was. Nate and the team were so kind and thoughtful throughout the entire process. We are so grateful we had the opportunity to spend our special day at Cathedral Ballard - it was truly so special!!! :)

The restaurant is very spacious and well decorated, the communication from Nate, Valisa, and the rest of his team was frequent and clear, and we had no issues with catering, music, or any of the other details to make our 40 person event a success. Photographed a wedding here in 2023, and it was top notch! The large glass windows make for lovely natural light, while deeper inside allows for use of mixed lighting. The blend of brick, rustic wood, antique lighting fixtures, leather barstools...this place is very cool all around for photos. Add candles and flowers, and this venue is one of the best wedding venues around. If you're planning your wedding and looking for a venue rental, visit this one! Bonus points to them because they donate a boatload to charities (check that out on their website, really impressive!).

Our small (50 person) wedding was one of the best nights of my life, thanks in large part to the crew and space at Cathedral! The communication with Nate, Valisa, and our on-site folks was beyond helpful - it was supportive and encouraging. The space is gorgeous on its own (especially with the 100’s of candles that they light for you the day of your event!), and we were able to add lots of DIY touches to make it extra special to us. But the best part is that renting this space actually contributes to good things in our community because they donate all of their profits to charity. What’s not to love?!? Thank you Cathedral team!
