Very fun place especially if you like to hike. While they have all the fun stuff on the north side I prefer over the hill on the south side of the ark. They pitch I hike is a leg burner. About a half mile in length it's paved and a good workout.

Some great trails for off-roading, biking, or hiking but it's not clear what, if any, restrictions there are. I couldn't find much info online or any good maps. Tried to find the old dam but the dirt road that looked good on an old satalite image was overgrown.

Took my niece and nephew it ended us on a landfill we drove all the way from Maricopa. If google could give better directions to this place that would be great. We ended up hiking the sonoran preserve 11 minutes away it was a nice sunset.
