I was a volunteer for a PB event today for people with movement disorders similar to and including Parkinson's. So glad management agreed to donate court use for this amazing event. Club is really nice, with good lighting, was comfortable and cool, restrooms clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful also. As I didn't play on the courts can't comment on the surface but it seemed comparable to other indoor clubs with outdoor surfaces. Thanks for sharing your club and hosting this event.

This place is so new, Google maps still show the previous occupant shop in the street map photos, and the actual navigation guides you to the plaza parking lot instead of the front door, we had to drive around the parking lot to find the place. Inside, it’s super shiny and new, great first impressions, lighting and court markings are excellent, staff and friendly and attentive, as well as plenty of court side tables and chairs for friends and family to support. In the middle there is a large resting area that offers fountain soda and beer/wine, and tv’s playing various sports, the free wifi works fast and stable. Very well thought out and executed. So why only three stars you wonder? - The changing rooms are small (both men’s and women’s as confirmed by my wife), only two showers in the men’s. - The acoustics of the place is crazy loud, like echo chamber loud. It was barely acceptable when we started at 1pm, when it was full packed around 2-3pm people can’t even shout out the score for their playing partners to hear. - I saw ONE water fountain in the whole place. If there are more please clearly mark it. If theres truely just the one then obviously insufficient.

I really want to love this place because it’s so close to my house. I dropped in shortly after they opened and was nearly rebuffed because I didn’t have an appointment. They gave me a tour regardless but the noise was sooo deafening that I couldn’t even understand my tour guide even though we were talking face-to-face. At that time, the only player development they offered was private lessons. Then I was there for a silly pickles league last spring that was run HORRIBLY. Besides the management (or lack thereof) of the league play, it was my first time playing at the facility. The noise was again off-putting. You can’t hear scores at all and that level of cacophony cannot be good on your long term hearing. Regardless, I still want to like this place because its so convenient to my house. I had instruction from one of their coaches and was really disappointed. He basically told me that because I wasn’t going to compete, that I didn’t have to learn how to play well. What?! Thats the last time I take a private lesson there! At least now they seem to have put some clinics in place. I don’t know how much they charge for them but they’re the most expensive indoor membership in the valley so I betting that they’re charging extra for clinics too. I’m currently driving all the way to Talking Stick & 101 to play because of the noise at Center Court. I talked to Jon about the noise months ago but I was in there last week and its still just as bad as ever. I want to love Center Court but I just can’t.

OMG - THE NOISE!! I’ve played lots of indoor venues across the valley. I want to find a new place to join relatively close to my home. Center Court is just a mile away. I’m currently an annual member at The Picklr at Talking Stick & 101 but my membership expires in a few months. I checked out Center Court last year shortly after it opened but the noise, lack of skill-level clinics, and skill-level open play drove me away. On the upside, there is plenty of parking at this site. It’s in strip mall at Scottsdale Rd and Mayo Blvd, just off 101 so it’s easily accessible from the freeway. The place is well-lit and the lighting is pointed upward so you’re not blinded during overhead shots. Their player development programming has expanded over the past year but two of their coaches are particularly bad and very expensive. Their open play is a chaotic and unpredictable with a bad paddle-up system. Open play hours have recently been oddly changed so there is little mid-day availability. The NOISE is a major, major detractor. Every ball strike reverberates and echos off all of the walls. It is the LOUDEST place to play I’ve ever experienced. It’s impossible to hear scores. The have a beverage station that sells alcohol. Alcohol and pickleball seems like an accident waiting to happen. I think alcohol would hurt a game where agility and reaction times are king. Their prices have gone up so its a major expense, especially for two player households. Center Court may only be a mile away but there are much better playing options elsewhere. I don’t see the value in their membership costs compared to other facilities.

Staff and people here are awesome. This place is great to play, facility is top notch. Courts can get booked up but that’s normal for a pickleball spot. Clean courts and the courts have plenty of space on the sides and behind the line. Andre the manager is a great dude and his staff is super chill.
