LOVE THIS PLACE! Great venue for stage productions. Have been to many performances at all three theaters. Every Angeleno should check out a production at what used to be known as The Music Center.

Los angeles' premiere theater group. The productions, sometimes produced locally, sometimes touring, are always first-rate. The Ahmanson theater is a great place to see musicals. The smaller Mark Taper Forum is an intimate thrust stage theater featuring plays (and the occasional small musical). The Ahmanson and Taper are at the Los Angeles Music Center, LA's largest theater venue with ample reasonably priced underground parking. There are several restaurants in the complex so you can make a night of it. The Kirk Douglas theater in Culver City is the smallest venue for new works.

Pretty frustrating. I'm a subscriber, have seats for Saturday matinees. Too often, we get understudies for Saturday matinees. Today, essentially every actor was an understudy.
