Great experience here! It’s intimidating to be a female alone at these types of things. More women should get out there and do this. Michael knows his stuff and is a women’s advocate. It was so helpful to work through different scenarios with someone that knows the law and how different court situations have worked out. We discussed citizens helping out in emergency situations. He approved of someone calling 911 and another person recording to help with identification and evidence of the person committing crime (that’s going in my 3rd book :). The shooting experience was amazing. Very peaceful and felt like I was at a military academy.

Attended here today for the basic firearm safety course. Michael Carhill started it out explaining the laws behind gun ownership and was very helpful in explaining stuff if we had any doubts. They then took us out to the range (like 18 miles away), and let us shoot 4 guns! (2 handguns, a shotgun and an AR-15). Their firearm instructors seemed very knowledgeable and welcoming. They made sure everyone was following proper safety. Excellent experience all in all. 10/10 would recommend.

We took Michael's course a couple years ago and then came back with our daughter as soon as she turned 18 years old. We drove 3 hours just so she could learn from him. He is so detailed and makes the class fun and interactive. Would definitely recommend Central Texas Gun Works!!

I had an excellent experience at Central Texas Gun Works with Michael Cargill! The staff is incredibly friendly, and Michael is a hands-on instructor who’s extremely knowledgeable and professional. The LTC class was top-notch—step-by-step, easy to follow, and Michael made it simple, instructional, and even fun with his humor. The breakfast tacos were a fantastic bonus! When purchasing firearms or ammunition, Michael and his team are always helpful and make the process smooth. Highly recommend!!!!
