I was asked to pull forward—fine. But after waiting 15 minutes with no update, I circled back around. Still, I said nothing, didn’t raise my voice, didn’t complain. What I got in return? No apology. No smile. No eye contact. Just a dry, monotone: “Did you have the wings?” I said yes. She held the bag out the window, aggressively, to the side—still not looking at me. No “Here you go.” No “Thanks.” No “Have a good day.” Nothing. It was like I ruined her day just by ordering food.
