Best place to learn table tennis for kids. I almost drive more than 1 hour from Suburbs to go there because no one is teaching the table tennis in Suburbs area. Their coaches are best and good place to play the table tennis 🏓, they have affordable price for lessons, for playing or for tournaments.

I love going here to play table tennis! Great camaraderie and everybody gives each other pointers and tips to better their game! There's a league here with tournaments and rankings as well. Ardy has been running the show for years, he's a great host and a great teacher!
Exploding Steak
To my knowledge, this is the only table tennis club in Chicago that provides coaching and is open practically every day(excluding Sundays, when tournaments are hosted). Ardy is a charming, knowledgeable teacher who's full of table tennis related facts and life stories. The coaching is one on one, which is a perfect place for beginners to learn the basics, but also for intermediate players to get specialized attention. The average level of the club is slightly lower than other clubs, making this the most beginner friendly club I've been to. That's not to say Chi Slam isn't home to some very skilled players, as I would say the average rating level on a normal weekday would be around 1300-1700, with players as high as 2100 occasionally making appearances to play as well. I definitely recommend this place.
