These folks love gaming. A humble and very modest (small) arcade coming from an educational, nonprofit angle. $8 gets you an all access pass to two floors and a broad-based insight into video gaming history. Exhibits are shown on both floors, elevator can be used by request. Has periodic exhibits and a very low bar of entry. Cabinets are sourced from the local arcades in the area. Fairly family friendly, but keep in mind some of the games on the floor are M-rated.

Located just off the Bloomingdale Trail near Western, this is a great little spot; a free-play arcade, $8 adult admission, $5 for kids, with some informative exhibits. Some of the arcade machines included Ms. Pac-Man, Asteroid, NARC, NBA Jam, Mortal Kombat & Street Fighter, etc. Also several home consoles (NES with Duck Hunt, PS1, PS2, Genesis, etc.). Very limited hours, so plan accordingly. We were the only people there today. Go and show them some love, it’s a very chill place to spend an afternoon.

I was pleasantly surprised at what this place had to offer. Initially booked it to have something to do and pass time during our time in Chicago but ended up having a lot of fun. There are stations set up which a console and an old time favorite game. We played Pac Man, Oregon trail, NBA Jam, Pong, Space Invaders and more. All game play is included in the admission. I personally have never played a game on Atari and thought that was pretty unique and special. I’d highly recommend stopping by!

Clean, close to everything, and convenient booking/access. Definitely would recommend to anyone visiting Chicago. The street is quiet and across from the 606. Around the corner is Dark Matter, a liquor store, and a few pubs. About a block down is the blue line.... easy peasy access from O'Hare airport.
