Unfortunately I have to give KICS youth program this rating. If you’re trying to introduce your kid to a team please find another soccer team, coaches don’t interact with the kids. Don’t even ask their names don’t even try to make it fun for them. They don’t take attendance really unorganized, each practice is with a new coach so kids don’t even get to become comfortable with the same coach. It’s an hour practice full of drills like if the kids are grown teenagers. More like a job for the coaches than making it a core memory for the kids.

Should be able to leave 0 stars but you can't. ZERO leadership, no communication and just a money grab by folks being pushed through the city system and greedy politicians to take our money. There's a reason KICS management has never responded to criticism. They are unprofessional, lazy and lack any morality or accountability and should be in no position to influence young children. Only thing that's positive are the parents. KICS as an organization is a sham. Keep you kids away

We joined this club this year, and my daughter has really begun to grow as a player under the direction of Coach Danny! This club focuses on player development more than winning. While winning is still celebrated they celebrate the personal.success of the player (good passing during a match, great goal kicks, better first touches) . Ita clear the coaches know what they're doing and as equally passionate about the game. Wonderful experience so far! My kiddo looks forward to practice each week.

Chicago KICS is, in my opinion, one of the best soccer clubs in Chicago. This does not necessarily means that they have the best players, a soccer club needs work in every level, and KICS actually has it. In their Grassroots programs you can find classes for Toddlers, where they get to experience soccer for the first time. Also, the Juniors program prepares kids for travel soccer at the same time that they get to enjoy weekly sessions to have fun and learn new soccer skills. They have multiple locations that embrace almost every area in Chicago, a great point! Once they make it to the travel teams, there are multiple options, either close to the city or in the South-side, with well-prepared coaching staff and a great environment. The club really cares about player-development, so it is not a win-only strategy, which makes it even better. As a plus, they help high-schoolers and college players with recruiting options to become professional. If you want to try soccer for the first time, or grow as a player and try to make it all the way to the top, do not hesitate and give Chicago KICS a try!
