This is a great place to take a hot date. I suppose it's technically closed at dark like most other park-ish government areas, but I always walk in after dark with folks and look like I know where I'm going and no one cares. You can sit on the less-than-romantic concrete but listen to the *waves rush* and see the john hancock lit up and *listen to the trees blow.* it's also free. Great college date spot. A good friend of mine took my idea and got engaged here.

I was spending time in LINCOLN PARK and my area was completely overtaken by the Chicago Yacht Club with no regards for my personal space or six feet of social distancing. Many of the kids were not wearing masks. When I asked a leader to respect my space he was snotty with me and said the Yacht Club owned the land. Last I heard Lincoln Park was part of the Park District and owned by the City of Chicago. Although I cannot attest to the services themselves the customer service and lack of care regarding safety during a global pandemic should be noted by those considering this establishment.
