I received my 2oohr RYT at Chicago yoga center. The Studio location is easy to get to and in a nice area of the city. The Studio itself is warm and inviting. Suddha and his staff are kind and knowledgeable, just amazing people to work with. The climate of the studio is very laid back. I would definitely return for additional training and yoga classes.

I just returned from a weekend yoga retreat in Mundelein with Suddha Weixler, and I feel fantastic! The weekend consisted of meditation, pranayama, restorative yoga, as well as more challenging asanas for those students who thrive on doing headstands. What I love about Suddah’s teaching is that he comfortably and easily adjusts the practice to his audience and there is no judgment about individual abilities. I don’t have a chance to practice with Suddha very often because I live 4 hours away, but I am never uncomfortable about the fact that I may be a little less experienced or flexible than the other students in the class. Suddha is very knowledgeable about anatomy and his teaching increases my awareness of the benefits of yoga for certain muscle groups or organs (and I feel those muscles and organs very distinctly today! ). He also includes discussions on the history of yoga and spirituality and I learn something new each time. I have attended classes at the Chicago Yoga Center whenever I have been in the city since 2005 and have traveled to exotic locations such as Mexico, Costa Rica, Peru, France, and Croatia with Suddha and other students. Each trip has been a unique, enjoyable yoga experience. Here is my favorite quote from this past weekend with Suddha: “Stillness in body creates stillness in mind, which creates awareness”. THANK YOU, Suddha! Looking forward to the next trip!!

Never going here again. Waited half an hour in freezing negative degree weather for the 10 am yoga class. No one was there to buzz us in. Patricia showed up late and was rude, unapologetic and unprofessional. Save your money and go to yoga elsewhere. Would leave negative stars if I could.
