This place has a huge selection of high quality cigars and spirits. The ambiance, decor and vibe of this place are all incredibly unique. Definitely feels luxurious and posh. Nice and quiet to enjoy a cigar and sip a fine spirit on the rocks or neat. Very knowledgeable staff and very accommodating to customer tastes and preferences. Friendly patrons are easily found there and it is easy to strike up a conversation or just enjoy your solitude. I highly recommend for purveyors of luxury spirits and cigar connoisseurs. To start, I am far from the average cigar lounge customer. I expect weird looks both for being female & beyond that having a very “alternative” aesthetic. I do usually see 1-2 other women there but we rarely hit it off. It’s a little less weird back home in Seattle, but our closest cigar lounges absolutely pale in comparison to Churchill’s, so despite feelings of being an outsider I was excited to go. I did feel very intimidated walking in, it’s probably not a place I’d go by myself, however the tobacconist/bartender/server/guy-who-does-everything was beyond awesome. Extremely friendly & helpful, super great to talk to. Sometimes we get eye rolls when we tell people we’re from the PNW but he was super chill. Unfortunately we only stuck to water so I can’t rank any drinks, but my bf is quite the whiskey guy & was impressed by their selection. I didn’t end up liking the cigar he recommended me, but I don’t expect people to be able to read minds & that’s an inherent part of the cigar experience, so it doesn’t knock points off at all. We happened to be there during a football game, so it was very loud & busy. If you get overstimulated easily I’d try to go during a less busy time of day, as I myself tend to prefer. I probably wouldn’t come here by myself, but I did have a great time & will definitely be back. Try to get your hands on Seattle Pipe Club’s Plum Pudding cigar, but don’t worry if you can’t. We’ll bring a spare 🔥
