Saw "The Nutcracker Ballet"; it was amazing. Loved the live orchestra accompaniment, it elevates the performance experience. They also have a great special effects curtain that gives the viewers a sneak peek at what is happening inside Clara's home as the visitors are en route to the party. It's a small venue with an excellent seating set-up. I had orchestra seats but from what I could see every seat looks great. It was money well spent and I am excited to see future productions from this company.

What a fantastic company! I lived in NYC for years and attended NYCity ballet performances often. The City Ballet of SD is as good or better in their stagings of Balanchine's ballets. In addition, they have two wonderful choreographers, Elizabeth Wistrich and Geoff Gonzales, also a wonderful dancer. Ariana Gonzales continues to dazzle as prima ballerina. Thank you City Ballet!

Even though there were some technical and artistic layers between performers, overall I cannot resist to give my all thumbs. Especially, pad de deux in Act2 was keeping me ‘wow’ till the end of the show (nutcracker). Maybe My wife and I will be a regular audience.
