Perfect park to start off your trail run into the mountains. There is a lot of elevation gain at the start but it is worth the sore legs once you get to the top. I would caution to stay on the trail, I ventured off on some side trails and ended up in a couple homeless encampments.

great place to race a stick down the creek , get cuddles from other people's dogs (if you love dogs but can't have your own) or lay in the grass snd watch the oak tree's leaves ruslte in the wind from under their green umbrella. did i mention dogs? definately a scenic route when i feel lost. The picnic table is a personal favorite.

It was a place to sit for a few minutes. The belongings of homeless people were scattered on benches and the ground. I have seen better kept city parks all over the US

Cute little park! No playground, but I went just to put my feet in the water to cool down.

When you walk down from State Capitol Building to Temple Square, you'll see this quiet and beautiful park. When you're alone, be aware of those hobos inside the park.
