City Heights Recreation Center offers great amenities—playground, gym, and pool—but staff can sometimes be unhelpful. Still, the space is clean, active, and good for families. A solid spot for recreation, just could use friendlier service to make it a full 5-star experience.

The pool is open and it’s awesome! There are a lot of kids with fowl language and seem to give the lifeguards grief on the weekends but during the week it’s nice! The tennis courts are nice as well and since the Covid testing stopped it has been way less problematic with people coming into the neighborhood and taking up parking and driving erratically.

I come for the tennis courts. The courts are great and lit for night play. The sign out front says “open daily from 10-6”, when in reality the place has only been open half the time I’ve visited during these times. They don’t answer the phone, and they close the courts when there has been rain in the last 48 hours. 5 star facilities. 2 stars off for erratic closures and less than helpful staff.
