I recently took a one time class to wheel throwing. I was super excited for it as we had booked it almost a month in advance! The reality of the class was incredibly disappointing. I was extremely discouraged by the class environment. There were 9 students and the instructor spent the whole 2 hours only interacting with 2-3 of the students. The rest of us were ignored with no guidance. The only guidance was when the instructor gave us a demo at the beginning of the class where she flew through all the steps from start to finish with vague directions and then barely paid attention to us for the rest. I can’t believe that really happened- I’ve never experienced such aloof behavior from an instructor. I wouldn’t recommend this experience to anyone. Seems like a nice studio space for those who already have the skill set to practice on their own.

Lee is a standup guy who has an ample amount of studio space for all of your ceramic needs. I have completed many works here and find it warm and inviting and instructional when needed.

This is the studio I’ve been searching for for years. I love the vibe here, every one I’ve met here, and the instructor I had for my hand building class is very lovely and down to earth. 12/10 recommend! They have options for every body here, from a single class, to a 6 week series, to a monthly membership! I also love that they offer late night hours, which is what I’ve needed. Thank you

We love this place! Lee is a fabulous leader and is encouraging while offering constructive criticism that really helps you improve. Our teacher, Dennison, is so skilled and patient. Everyone in the studio is so welcoming - it has such a great vibe! We started as absolute beginners and now, after two sessions, are seeing serious gains.

We took a wheel-throwing class here on Sunday. We were very happy with the 2-hour experience. The instructor Kaylon was super helpful and patient. In the end we were able to make several nice small potteries. The studio will also glaze and bake them (2~3 weeks) so that all the class participants can bring their pieces home.
