One of my regulars brought these cookies in for us and we were hooked. These are THE perfect cookies. Not too soft, slight crunch, not too thick or too thin. Just... perfect. A nice little spot. Parking can become very complicated as you would need a permit or be lucky to find parking in nearby street or in their small parking lot. I was excited to try this place based on the reviews. It’s a place where you order at the counter and then need to find a table. It was crowded, but we managed to find the only last table in the back near the restrooms. Not the best, but it happens. We kind of waited and the food arrived but we were missing silverware. We kind of struggled to get everything. And, when it was time to try the food. Well, it just didn’t make the cut for us. The chicken sandwich was dry. Nothing exciting. The breakfast bagel - it’s supposed to be poched eggs but they were too cooked. And, the cinnamon bun was a disappointment. For the price, we were quite disappointed about the food. We went with fairly basic items - maybe not their specialities, but we were really hoping for something better…
