Coffee Manufactory

Why Coffee Manufactory is a fun option when searching for things to do near me with friends and family

Coffee Manufactory, based in Las Vegas, offers a unique specialty coffee experience that makes it a great place to meet up with friends or savor a quality brew. Known primarily as the coffee roaster behind the acclaimed Tartine Bakery locations—from San Francisco to Seoul—Coffee Manufactory emphasizes sweetness, balance, and artisan quality in every cup. What sets this roaster apart is its commitment to sustainable sourcing, producer empowerment, and transparency throughout the coffee supply chain. Their innovative Cloud Roasted™ technique uses a gas-fired vortex process that gently and uniformly roasts beans, which reduces bitterness while enhancing aroma and flavor complexity. This refined roasting method complements the roaster’s dedication to creating partnerships rather than traditional vendor relationships, focusing on human-scale, sustainable collaborations with coffee producers worldwide. Their lion emblem, inspired by a statue in Ethiopia—coffee’s birthplace—symbolizes pride, humility, and respect for the craft and cultural heritage. Whether you enjoy the smooth 01 Espresso blend or seasonal offerings such as their celebrated 03 Africa or 04 Latin coffees, Coffee Manufactory provides a convivial atmosphere for coffee enthusiasts and casual meetups alike, appealing to those who value ethically sourced, carefully crafted coffee with a story behind every cup.

I got a latte which was okay. I also got an egg sandwich because I missed the ones I got in Japan.... It was just okay. If the authentic ones are a 10/10, these would be a 5.5/10. Edible, but wouldn't pay my own money to get again. Prices are also super steep. I think they know their main patrons are paying on big tech company credit cards.

I am always looking out for good places to host gathering with girlfriends and for Meetup groups. It's not easy to find a large space for a group of 10-15 people in coffee shops that has nice decor, a clean restroom, quiet without loud music, and are not busy on a weekend afternoon. I think cafes in the hotels might be a good choice around Silicon Valley. 10/10/2022 Edited: My group of 18 people went to this place in the past Saturday and had a great experience. Although I didn't know that their barista only worked until 2pm, there are still cold drinks that we can purchase. The staff were very helpful and accommodating with our parking validation. By the way, they also has a bar and a restaurant.

Pros: Very nice lobby, pleasant staff, clean bathrooms. Cons: Expensive, shop deserted after 2 pm. This is one of the only public coffee shops/restaurants near the Google Cloud, Amazon, and Meta offices, inside a new hotel that opened in February. Came around 12:30, no fresh pastries, just a few cookies and the packaged food options in the refrigerated case. I ordered a small drip coffee ($5) and a chocolate chip cookie ($7), $12 total. The taste of the coffee was pretty good, but full of grounds at the bottom, so that was a big negative. Cookie is obviously way overpriced. As mentioned in another review, the shop is not regularly staffed after 2 pm, and the pastry case is completely empty. Other restaurant staff will come over to help with coffee if they see you standing there (I say this with confidence since a group was being served at 4:15 pm), but I have to question how well this works and the quality of, say, drip coffee that isn’t freshly brewed. The lobby space is large with lots of seating options and both wall and floor plugs. If you want a laptop height table, you’ll be sitting at one of two communal tables on stools. All of the other tables are too low to work at. The hotel internet tested around 19 Mbps and was plenty fast for video conferencing. Bathrooms are located behind the restaurant, very nice and clean. This would be a great spot to grab a quiet drink with a few colleagues and have a relaxed business discussion. As a coffee shop hangout, it’s too expensive with inconsistent service and products.

Great industrial, wood-cement, modern building (Tetra Hotel). Friendly service. Coffee not as impressive as building. Pour over was bland; decent drip coffee flavor.

We tried Coffee Manufactory for the first time today. This place is inside the Tetra Hotel. The barista was friendly and did a great job on our latte and mocha. Really enjoyed the flavor of the espresso in both drinks and the mocha wasn’t too sweet. The pastries were good, from Firebrand Bread in Oakland: we had a ham and cheese and some sort of Nutella-cardamom kouign amann. We ate outside in the courtyard between the hotels. I was disappointed that self-parking cost $5 (I didn’t notice any pricing on the way in) so next time I will see if I can get the parking validated.
