We’ve had a lot of terrible experiences with the Lakewood/Littleton league. In the past it was mostly just disorganized and a bit unprofessional but this week has left my 8 year old son truly heartbroken. During the kick around tryouts I noticed him looking really upset while he was working with one of the coaches. Then during his water break immediately after, he started crying and was so hurt, stressed out, and embarrassed because he said the coach called him an IDIOT and told him to stop messing up multiple times!! This has really upset him all week coming from a coach who should be teaching, encouraging and uplifting our young children. To make it worse, his dad and I were completely dismissed when we spoke to anyone about it AND they never bothered to even consider our son for any of the teams. We never got the email or call about what team he made or if he didn’t make one because of all of this. So disheartening and disappointing. Rush should be ashamed of this whole situation how it hasn’t been addressed in any manner. If it was a misunderstanding, then that needs to be communicated to us so everything can be cleared up and our son can get some closure. Nothing has been communicated or resolved in any way and it’s been made clear to us that Rush does not care about these kids and their wellbeing, their only concern is making money.

Colorado Rush is the community you want for your kids! All 4 of our kids have gone through Rush. Our youngest two are both competitive now and are having the time of their lives! We’ve done some traveling being a part of the DPL and these girls are making memories that will last a lifetime! Last year they started the young referee program so that the older kids can help referee the younger age groups. Ashleigh, Jeff, Adam, to name a few coaches, thanks for helping create confident athletes!

Colorado rush is a total scam. They could totally care less about the development of a child and they only focus on giving the opportunity to those player who go golfing with the coaches and make big donations to the club. Read the reviews and know what you are getting into. Invest your hard earned money in a real club that can give your player a real opportunity to grow.

This club is an absolute joke. They assured us that they had two rosters for the age group. Their director expressly stated that it would not make sense to have more than two goalies. Then a month before the season started they informed the parents they were combining the two teams and there would be four goalies. Of course they refused any kind of refund. They only want your money. DO NOT JOIN THIS CLUB

Javi is a great coach and director. He has taken our team to the top team in Colorado for Presidents Cup. He has hired amazing coaches who have lead their teams to the playoffs in DPL under his leadership.
