There are done great community events at this park and it is nestled right behind the library. This park is mostly safe but at times there are some homeless or otherwise indigent people hanging out. It can be difficult to know who has mental challenges such that they may not be safe to be around. Most people are just hanging out having a good time especially when there is a music festival.
