Like many of the parks in Denver, Cook is going through minor renovations. The walking paths are receiving new concrete and will be fenced off in certain sections. Unfortunately, the kids' play area has been completely ripped out for the time being. If Bible is a good indicator, something really nice is on the horizon for the area. So far, nothing is happening to the pool or clubhouse, so business as usual. Something of note; a new port-a-potty has arranged on scene, which is wheelchair accessible. A bonus for wheelchair bond as well as bikers on a long ride.

Great park and Recreation Center. Every third Monday of the month, Food Bank of the Rockies, sets up in the parking lot.

I used to go here for field day in elementary school. The park was huge and very alive from what I remember. The new playground looks nice and the park still looks the same after 4 years, it's dog friendly and a lot of events are hosted there. There's not really much else to explain. It's better to see it in person than in reading others' experience, I hope this review makes you go outside and explore new areas around the city as many people like to stay indoors and not take a break. Alright, I'm going to stop yapping and get back on my bike. Stay safe and enjoy what you have right now.

Cook park has a foaming creek running through it full of lawn waste. It eventually dumps into Cherry Creek. Big rugby pitch on the east end.
