Always great service! Amanda is the best, we always try to sit in her section. The wine club membership is worth every penny! Short rib risotto is probably one of the best menu items for dinner. Their Thanksgiving dinner was great back in November. We love all the flatbreads and the monthly specials! Always a great time here for any occasion!

First of all, Cooper’s Hawk is a winery. And they have a lot of different wines; whites, reds, sparkling, fruit, sangria. The lobby is part store, part tasting room. If you at all like wine, it is worth paying the cost for a tasting (8 samples of anything). They will also let you try a couple of samples at the dinner table to help you decide on a wine. If you order a bottle, then they decant it at your table. We arrived about an hour before our reservation and went through a leisurely tasting with the very helpful wine steward. I personally preferred the Riesling and Gewürztraminer. They have a wine club and were having a special dinner event the night we were there. While the food was relatively pricey, I found it refreshing that it was worth the price. We tried the Drunken Shrimp and the Chicken Potstickers appetizers. I could have made a meal of both. I’ve had potstickers before that were bland, but theirs were very flavorful. Both had a sauce that really gave them life. We also snacked on the addictive Pretzel Bread while our dinner was prepared. For dinner, our party tried the Trio of Medallions, Red Wine Braised Short ribs, Braised Short Rib Risotto, and Combo with Cooper’s Chicken Caesar Salad and Italian Sausage and Whipped Burrata Flatbread. All were VERY good, although one opinion was that the Medallions dish was very salty. We had a birthday at our table and the normal treat is two house truffles (one white, one dark). The waiter was kind enough to bring four so that everyone at the table could enjoy them. I hear that they are $5 each, but still found myself wanting to wander to that counter on the way out. They were large and delicious. The waiter staff is excellent. We never wanted for anything or felt rushed. We topped the night off with cups of coffee and left with a bottle of wine for another day. A party of two having dinner and an appetizer will probably set you back just north of $100 (no alcohol).

Update: 4/5/2025- We dined here this evening just for a family dinner and experience the best service at this location yet. Emily was our server. She was helpful, friendly, tentive, and knowledgeable. Megan was also great! She helped Emily bring food to our table and also checked in on us if Emily was assisting another group. Seeing the teamwork always aids in an enjoyable service. The food was, as always, amazing. Myself and my father in law did try the Chef's seasonal entree, the Sea Bass, and was blown away with the care and cooking technique. The fish was cooked perfectly. My mother in law enjoyed her Chicken Madeira, and my husband enjoyed the Cilantro Ranch Chicken sandwich. We'll always recommend this restaurant! 12/14/2024: We frequent the Chandler location as it's a lot closer to us, but we decided to have Brunch for my birthday in Scottsdale. The food was absolutely amazing. Our server wasn't as attentive as other locations we've been to, and that was one thing I noticed consistently at this location. It won't stop us from coming again, but we'll more than likely stay close to home.

Cooper's Hawk really came through this time and reminded us why we love it so much. The food was spot on the service was awesome and the staff including the manager Eric were super friendly and helpful. Even when one dish wasn’t quite right they fixed it fast and made sure we left happy.
