Perfect place for a little brunchy lunch. We had the steak and eggs-which was hanger steak cooked to perfect medium rare and very tender. We also had the half turkey sandwich with sweet potato fries- pretty tasty. Katy was our server, she was friendly, capable, and went out of her way to make us fresh lemonade and decaf coffee. We really appreciated her welcoming energy. Local, clean, and chill kind of vibe to the place. Thanks for the great food and service!

Classic breakfast place! food was good, although my friend mentioned the sausage tasted odd, i didn't get to try it. I had the counter benedict with pastrami and it was yummy! Service was great, and for a sunday morning they had plenty of availability. only thing is I feel like the seats were really close to the people adjacent to us, but nothing too uncomfortable. We absolutely love this neighborhood spot in East Austin. The service is always positive and enjoyable. Very attentive and happy to help. The food is consistent and fresh. In particular, we love the breakfast sandwich and classic breakfast plates. For lunch, we love the turkey club, daily soups, and the salads. I've had the burger as well, and it was a well seasoned burger and the fries were tasty as well. Counter Cafe is always on our favorite list.

This restaurant has friendly staff and the food is REALLY good! I polled our entire group for a star rating before posting this review and we all agreed.. 5 stars! Hands are shown in the photos for scale.. those are BIG Pancakes! The French toast is far better than any I’ve had.
