While visiting Palo Alto, I woke and looked for a place for coffee and breakfast and this was close to my hotel. The gentleman was kind and friendly when I ordered my coffee and banana bread around 930. I sat by the window and checked work and personal emails, text family, made notes, etc and now it's 1pm that I'm leaving. I appreciated not being rushed out as I accomplished a lot. It was so relaxing in here even while seeing the hustle and bustle of people heading to/from work and lunch. Employees were busy but always friendly and I really enjoyed my lil visit.

Entered at 6:35 am. The counter help talked on the phone for 5 minutes and ignored us. Once she got off the phone she still did not offer to take order. Then someone pushes past us: someone the staff knows. They smile and talk and staff takes their order. Takeaway: Do not go here unless you are friends with staff. If it is anything like the other Coupa cafes the food is mediocre anyway. Go to Verve or Douce France instead. Better food and WAY better service.

This place is pretty good coffee was a bit on the bitter side for a nitro cold brew and avocado toast was pretty good in taste but the toast was soggy where the avocado was and made it harder to eat without it sliding off while taking a bite

Visiting Palo Alto and a friend suggested we pick up coffee before the beach. I got a spicy iced mocha (cayenne pepper, chocolate flavors). Although I taste minimal if no spice, the flavor is authentically a mocha which I feel coffee shops often miss. Very rich, creamy espresso with hints of chocolate. My friend’s vanilla chai was also exceptional if you’re looking for a sweet vanilla. Very great flavors, decent amount of coffee too!

We came in for breakfast and we were more than a little disappointed with the experience. My boyfriend ordered first on his own, and received his meal last after an entire family of four and my food. I got the breakfast crêpe and he got the carne mechada arepa. His single cornmeal bun had no seasoning or buttery taste to it but was more like plain cream of wheat with a 2-3 oz portion of a not so great beef stew, it could have strongly benefited from some type of salsa or something. The salad side was decent but the flavors of the dressing did not complement the entree. Mine was plain, the Gouda tastes more like a light Swiss and the over all flavor was pancake with little else shining through. Over all the food was very plain and over priced. From the photos and pricing we saw before we ordered were expecting bigger portions and bold flavors but sadly this was not the case. If you’re desperate for a little caffeine I’m sure this place works but if you’re looking for a good meal I don’t recommend it. Although even for drinks I wasn’t completely happy with my latte and the orange juice was $4.25 for a very basic store bought juice even the drinks weren’t the best. Won’t be returning.
