I've really loved the Creekside jumps and can highly recommend them! It's a great place to learn riding jumps and gain confidence, with different size lines, and it's an easy peddle back up, meaning you can get tons of laps in even if you don't have an ebike 😛 The jumps do have a tighter radius to them so it I think it forces you to learn proper jumping technique, which I think is a good thing. You can definitely ride them on a full squish (setting your suspension to stiff does help). The jumps aren't huge but big enough to be challenging as you're learning and offer some progression. I'm definitely no master, but have come a long way and Creekside has been a big part of that. Some notes on the area: The parking lot right by the park has a sketchy vibe to it, and while I probably wouldn't go there at night, I've never had any issues (been there 4 times now). There are apartments next door so there are a lot of people around. You can also park on the side of the road right next to the wood jump area and there are security cameras at the apartments that cover some of those spots. The dirt rollers/jumps in the woods right by the parking lot are also in terrible condition, but just ignore those and head to the wood jumps. You get there by heading to the concrete trail and crossing the bridge to the left. Those are in great shape! If the parking lot does sketch you out too much you can also park at the White Rock Lake waterfall parking lot, close to the Dallas Arboritum and take the concrete paths to the jumps, should be around 10-15 minutes.

Creekside is a great addition to the North Texas MTB, DJ, and even BMX community. The jump area has both steep and mellow lines. Everything has somewhat of a table and is approachable for all skill levels. If you want to dirt jump, work on drops, flow or even ride a bike path its all here.

It is shameful that Dallas only has one of these. I am grateful for what Dallas has done the last 10 years but it needs minimally to have 4 asphalt Pumptracks to build skills. This is for all levels.

This park has not been kept up. The grass and weeds are taller than the tires on your bike.

Great place to come practice your skills at jumps and drops! The design of the skills area makes it very repeatable so you can really work on getting those laps in and hone in your skills without using up all your energy on the return. Good place to come for a quick lunch ride.
