Abby has created such a fun and welcoming environment at CBRN and I look forward to every class, especially Katie’s Taylor Swift Tuesdays! Cycling always intimidated me but it has become one of my favorite workouts thanks to CBRN. Carly, who works at the front desk, is always a friendly face as well! Can’t recommend enough!

This review is long overdue! I took a couple classes at this location earlier this year with Lilly and by far I enjoyed my time. I'm happy to have found a cycling space that provides inclusive spaces and caters to POC. If I come back it's mostly because of her, the music and energy she brings to each class. I have taken classes in other cycling spaces and I can honestly say this is the place that I have felt most comfortable in. I love and admire that she makes room for us POC in these predominately white centered spaces. Also a big s/o to Abbe and Sophie for going above and beyond and keeping an eye out for my car when I was in class and could not locate a parking space. The downside to this location is the parking space situation and aside from that the space tends to be really cold inside but then again it was winter the the building seems to be mostly all window/glass. The bathroom is not that "aesthetically pleasing" like soul cycle but that's okay Lilly and the music she plays makes up for it lol. Also when I was calling the place ahead of time to speak to someone I was not able to connect with anyone but I later learned that there phone calls are connected to another cycle bar space.

Fine until you try to cancel, and then they are absolutely awful. I have never gone to a workout place that is so horrific with communicating/replying. It felt like they were doing it on purpose to get money out of people. I wanted to find a new spin place and signed up for the first month of unlimited. I didn’t love the classes I did and tried to cancel- they charged my card anyway, did not answer their phone EVER (I called 16 times over the whole day to no avail) and were super rude over email. Not worth the headache for an expensive and very mediocre class. Would never recommend this place to anyone.

Why is CycleBar the perfect place for a group meetup?

CycleBar’s design and culture are built around community, making it an exceptional space for group meetups. The indoor cycling studios feature cutting-edge technology such as CycleStat performance metrics, which track individual riders’ outputs and provide personalized feedback via email after every ride. This feature adds a fun, competitive edge that friends can bond over or challenge each other with, sparking motivation and friendly competition. The instructors at CycleBar play multiple roles—as educators, motivators, DJs, and coaches—crafting an inclusive and encouraging atmosphere where group members receive personal attention while feeling part of a larger fitness community. Moreover, the music experience, called CycleBeats, energizes rides with heart-pumping playlists that unify the group’s cadence and energy, creating a collective vibe that’s both exhilarating and motivating. Located conveniently alongside popular local businesses and featuring well-maintained facilities, CycleBar also offers an accessible and welcoming environment for groups ranging from casual riders to serious cyclists. This makes it not just a workout venue but a social hotspot where fitness and friendship intersect.

How does CycleBar support riders of all fitness levels in a group setting?

One of the key reasons CycleBar shines as a venue for meetups is its inclusivity. Every rider, from novice to experienced athlete, finds a supportive and accommodating environment tailored to their fitness journey. Before classes begin, the CycleBar team assists each participant by fitting shoes and adjusting bikes to ensure comfort and proper form, crucial for group settings where individual needs vary widely. The studios emphasize no-judgment zones where it’s perfectly fine to take breaks or modify the ride to personal capabilities, fostering an encouraging space for everyone. The variety of ride options—like rhythm-based Foundation classes for newcomers or Performance rides featuring rider competitions—means your group can split into different classes if desired, yet still share the experience and motivate each other. CycleBar’s system of sending performance stats after every session helps each participant track progress over time, adding a personalized metric of achievement that friends can share to celebrate milestones. This personalized yet collective approach makes CycleBar uniquely suited to hosting groups with diverse fitness backgrounds.

What makes CycleBar’s indoor cycling experience uniquely engaging?

CycleBar elevates indoor cycling beyond a simple workout by creating a multi-sensory immersive experience that transforms each class into a celebration of movement and music. The signature CycleTheater environment uses dynamic lighting and sound systems designed to fully engage riders’ senses, turning the workout into a high-energy performance that feels more like a dance party than exercise. Professional instructors act as more than just trainers; they are also DJs and motivators who curate the music and guide cadence changes to match the rhythm, helping riders stay motivated and connected with their effort and each other. The CycleBeats playlists are crafted to boost morale, synchronize pedal strokes, and keep energy high, making it easier for groups to stay in sync and enjoy the ride together. This vibrant backdrop makes every class socially engaging, physically stimulating, and mentally uplifting—ideal for friends seeking a shared experience that is fun, fitness-oriented, and unique compared to traditional exercise venues.

How do performance tracking and technology enhance group workouts?

CycleBar’s integration of technology through CycleStat performance metrics adds a modern and competitive twist to group rides. Each rider’s effort is measured across six key metrics, including output, resistance, and cadence, which are then compiled into a personalized performance report sent to their email after the ride. This data-driven feedback encourages riders to set and beat personal goals—a feature especially motivating for groups who want to challenge one another or collectively improve fitness levels. Group leaders can organize friendly competitions, track progress over time, and celebrate personal bests, creating a social dimension that turns exercise into a game. Additionally, the use of technology streamlines class selection by helping riders find the right class intensity and style that matches their fitness goals, which means your group can easily tailor the experience to fit everyone’s preferences. This combination of data, competition, and personalization fosters accountability, camaraderie, and sustained motivation within the group.

How accessible and convenient is CycleBar for hosting a group event?

With over 200 locations across North America, CycleBar is widely accessible, making it easy to find a studio near you or your friends. Many CycleBar studios are situated in prominent strip malls alongside popular eateries and shops, providing convenient spots to gather before or after rides for refreshments or social time. This proximity to local amenities enhances the overall meetup experience by enabling a full event that combines exercise with casual hangouts. Booking with CycleBar is straightforward, allowing groups to reserve spots quickly, and the studios accommodate walk-ins with clear orientation for first-timers. The welcoming and organized environment means your group meetup can proceed smoothly without logistical headaches. Plus, the availability of shorter classes like Xpress fits well into busy schedules, allowing groups to optimize their time while enjoying a high-quality fitness experience together.

What are the benefits of sharing the CycleBar experience with friends or family?

Meeting up at CycleBar offers more than just a workout; it creates an opportunity to bond through shared goals, mutual encouragement, and collective achievement. The infectious energy of the CycleBar classes, combined with the encouragement from instructors and fellow riders, transforms fitness into a social event full of laughter, music, and motivation. These positive shared experiences can strengthen relationships and create lasting memories centered around health and wellness. Even after the ride, the emailed performance stats and playlists provide conversation starters and motivation to keep improving.
