Dallas Equestrian is an incredible hidden gem! My 9 yr old daughter started private lessons with Grace a couple months ago and has absolutely fallen in love with all things equestrian. Grace and the DAC team is amazing, gracious, kind and excellent at what they do. Highly recommend! If you are unable to reach them via phone or email- pop in and grab someone. Don't miss the opportunity to sign up for private lessons, group lessons or camp!

My 8 year old son takes lessons at DEC, from Grace. She is excellent: patient with him, allows him to groom and tack-up, and h in just a few months took him from scared and apprehensive around horses to being more comfortable with approaching and brushing and riding. "Star" is an excellent starter pony - very patient, good, even tempered, and doesn't bite when fed apples. DEC is top-notch set-up right in Dallas, no long drives just to ride. Very happy with DEC!

Things started nicely this past summer. Although, it took several weeks after I left a voicemail before we were able to get on the calendar. My 11 year-old was so relaxed and comfortable with her instructor. The problem began with billing issues. I sent my credit card information, then they said I was still missing a credit card on file. So I gave them another card number and told them to locate the first form to shred. No response to my emails. I emailed several more times and still no response. It is reasonable to expect a business to safeguard your private financial information. It was their responsibility to locate my credit card forms and communicate to me. And on top of no communication, the charges were going to the first credit card number. That makes no sense. And the dates were incorrect on the invoice. School resumed and our availability changed. I emailed and called and stopped by to get new lesson date and time. I even wrote a note on the whiteboard at the stables, and no response. Heartbreaking for my kid who couldn’t take lessons anymore. Then months later in November, I get a bill for a lesson dated in October when my daughter hasn’t had a lessons since September! The most frustrating part of this awful experience was my willingness to keep reaching out to them for lessons for my daughter when their business practices were so inefficient. That’s on me - lesson learned.

My gorgeous niece boards her horse and takes lessons here. She might choose to live here if we let her. She loves to just be at the barn. She's made an amazing group of friends that will be life long relationships. She is horse obsessed and lucky to have such a great community to share that with.

DEC has an amazing team of trainers for all levels. I compete in junior hunters and have friends who are taking their first lessons. Grace is amazing, and so are Laura and Amy. Fun to watch the SMU team practice and compete. DEC Rocks!
