I love aquariums and this one didn’t disappoint. While it didn’t have as many large ocean style tanks as many of the other aquariums I’ve been to, it was still a great experience. Like a little oasis or getaway that makes you feel like you’re outside of the city without having to leave. There are lots of restrooms spread throughout so you’re never too far from one. There are also lots of restaurants and even resting areas for people with children or babies that may need a place to take a break. You can prepay for parking and you’ll be able to stay in the lot until 5pm. There is not time limit to the time you can spend in the aquarium as well. Overall great experience, would go again.

A nice place to take the family and spend the afternoon. They aquarium has a large variety of animals on display, and is mostly indoors so you can escape the heat. It does seem to have more land animals than fish though. While the rainforest ecosystem they've recreated is impressive, I feel it is more suited to a zoo than an aquarium. There are a few cool fish displays like the walk through shark tunnel though. A+ for fun, B+ for aquatic displays.

An absolutely FUN place to take the family or a date. I am so glad I took my friend and her daughter we had a marvelous time there. There's so much to see and do and it's set up to where everything flows effortlessly from the time you enter until the time you leave. They had plenty of concessions inside and really nice restaurants. The place is immaculately clean and allows you to be totally interactive with several of the animals. In some areas it needs a little TLC but it's just normal wear and tear; it's just a little off-putting visually. All and all it was a great experience and it's DEFINITELY up there with The Atlanta Aquarium! Wow!

The exhibits were eye catching a d easy to see. Requires a lot of walking but plenty of aces to sit if need be. Restrooms are available as well. The exhibits are explained in detail, and plenty of info is available. There are a variety of birds and see animals in particular. The refreshments and snacks are affordable instead of asked up. The restaurant food is affordable and actually tastes. Especially the pasta. The servers were both pretty and friendly. This is a place good for families, solo visitors, couples, etc... the location is right on the tourist line and easily accessible. It is worth visiting multiple times. For locals, get a membership or purchase it with a city tour if possible. For visitors to Dallas, this is a MUST SEE.

We visited The Dallas World Aquarium at the beginning of August, and it was a lot of fun! It was a bit crowded on a Saturday, but my husband and kids seemed to enjoy it even more than I did, and I love sharks! The price was fairly reasonable, but they had a lot more to show than just fish! There were lots of birds, including a small flock of flamingos, crocodiles, penguins, an ocelot, and even a manatee! We very much enjoyed the wide range of animals, and my personal favorite was the acrylic tube that showcased several sharks swimming beside and above us! If you have an animal lover in the family but the zoo is too hot and too humid, try The Dallas World Aquarium.
