We have had our daughter dancing at Dance and Company for over 7 years now! Since our very first class with our nervous toddler, Katie, Lisa and their teachers have been warm, knowledgeable, patient and fun! To have our child be welcomed so wholeheartedly and genuinely regardless of her skill level or experience means so much to us. To have a studio like this nearby is a true stroke of luck. We prefer a non-competitive, encouraging and creative environment and that’s exactly what we have found with DCO. The optional annual production is amazing and I recommend participating if your child is taking classes. We love it!

The staff and the instructors are very nice but the policy is not flexible at all. My kid broke her arm at school and couldn’t dance for two months, I requested to freeze the account but the studio said they couldn’t do it. They said my kid could take make up class later🙄🙄 however, they didn’t have classes that match our schedule and didn’t have many options. So at the end, we had to waste 2 months tuition! Plus, if your class is off during Labor Day or any holidays, you also have to pay and take a make up class later. I totally don’t get it… other studios can adjust the tuition in advance but Dance& Company can’t do it. I understand their policy but their class schedules really have limited selections. So we canceled our membership and switched to other studios. Oh, if you are a busy mommy, I personally don’t recommend to join the recital because they require a lot a lot of rehearsal before the recital. It was a little tiring for us😬 That’s why I have to give 3 stars in stead of 5 stars, sorry!

My daughter and son both dance at this studio and have loved it since day 1. The classes are structured well in focusing on technique and development. They make you feel like part of the studio family and we can tell that they truly care about the kids. My daughter has been dancing in their Performance Crew for the past few years and loves the friendships she has made while doing something that she loves.

We have attended Dance and company for three years- first at Sorrento Valley location and then at RB! We love the studio- the staff is warm and encouraging, there’s a good variety of classes for all ages, and we love the owners. I even can take a stretch and strengthen class when my girl is in her class since they have two studio rooms. We love supporting a local family owned small business with a non-competitive, nurturing environment for our daughter! She started at 2yo and is now nearly 5; the patience from the teachers and staff to teach the little ones is amazing!
