Best affordable Korean cuisine. The friendly cashier puts you in a good mood from the start. I ordered pork bone soup and green onion pancakes. The pork bone soup is much more watered down than the original, but the head meat inside is delicious, and the seasoning with shrimp paste and dongchimi broth brings out its savory flavor. The green onion pancakes are generously made with the squid that accompanies every bite. It would have been better if they were a bit crispier, but they are delicious when dipped in the appropriately seasoned soy sauce.

This place is truly amazing, very cozy, they have these little rolls that come in trays which we absolutely love. Anytime my parents and I are in Dallas we stop by, their food is amazing, nice and hot. I’d eat here everyday if I could. Absolutely love!

If I could I would totally gate-keep this place! But the food is just too good not to share! The staff was very lovely, everyone greeted you as you entered and as you left. Regardless of race, they greet you in their language, “anhyonghasaeo” which gives it more of an authentic vibe. The menu is hung above the cashier in both Korean and English language. We came during lunch hour today and they were pretty busy, though we didn’t even have to wait long for the food. I grabbed a tray of their gimbap (spicy w/ anchovies) laid out in the front, I loved that it came with pickled radish and a wasabi sauce. It was everything I was craving! For only $7 there were like 10 rolls in there! As for the main entrees, I ordered the spicy pork ribs, which was so good and tender, falling off the bone! I also ordered the seafood pancake, it wasn’t as crispy as other places I’ve tried but it was full of flavor and full of seafood! I’d take this seafood pancake over Maht gaek’s any day! I also ordered the soontofu soup combo with stir fried pork. Each entree came with a side of purple rice and plenty of side dishes. Their kimchi was especially good. You can tell it’s made in house, it was very fresh and delicious. Overall everything was so good, that I have no complaints about the food. I would honestly come back tomorrow 😂

Our family visited from Austin, and my Korean mother, who is extremely particular about Korean food, had this place recommended by her friends. We decided to give it a try, and it’s now our new favorite spot! First, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Second, we loved the self-serve concept—it’s convenient and eliminates the need for tipping. You pick up your food when it’s ready and choose your own seating. As for the food—WOW. We ordered the $60 combo meal, and every single dish was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich, the ingredients fresh, and the portions were generous. We highly recommend this place—10/10!"

If you're craving Korean comfort food, Dduk Bae Gi Hot Stone & Korean Kitchen is a hidden gem that absolutely delivers. Nestled off Harry Hines, this place is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates rich, flavorful Korean dishes! They have a lot of combo meals to choose from, but our group went with their kimchi jjigae + spicy pork, spicy grilled pork back ribs, dolsot bibimbap, and mul naengmyun. Everything was so good!! I also really appreciated how attentive they were to refilling our banchan. This place isn’t fancy, but it’s clean and cozy, and the staff is incredibly sweet. Prices are solid for how much food you get. If you’re craving real Korean food, this is the place!
