Very annoyed that citywide promotes events (namely softball) where players come each week and leave copious amounts of garbage and beer cans around the softball fields. I will update my reviews if they can encourage their teams to pickup after themselves

We've been playing with CityWide sports for about 3 years now and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Love getting out on Thursdays for some fun in the sun. Games are well organized and equipment is easy to set up once we get there. Have always had good teams to play against that want to have a good time. One thing I think would be great would be to have the CityWide sports team members reffing the final games on playoff night. They tend to get much more competitive than the rest of the season and tempers can run high. This year we made it to the finals and ended up playing great teams, but we have been in the playoffs before where both sides have gotten so mad about rules that it ruins the fun completely. Might be worth having someone supervising those final games so no one has to self police or call the other teams out, creating frustration. Overall, great organization and we will continue to come back.

For three years now I've been playing volleyball through Denver CityWide Sports and it's been a blast. This past season I played on 6v6 Wednesday and Thursday leagues and Evan and his staff were always super friendly to talk to and efficient in having the nets set up. The stakes were the only piece of equipment that gave us a hard time. Skill level of teams can vary but it's great that next season they are creating two divisions so the higher skilled teams can have good competition. The price of the league is more affordable than any other volleyball league that I've found. Last year a staff member shared that the team's fee money goes towards camps and sports programs for kids, which makes it that much better. I recommend this league to all my friends and each year I've had more and more friends continue playing. We had to split into two teams this past season. Definitely come out and play with CityWide!

We had a great time in the 6v6 volleyball league at Wash Park. I joined the free agent list last minute and Evan reached out and put me and my sister on a team with a bunch of other free agents. It was a really great way to meet new people - and we are going back for another league together now. They are well organized with a website that tells you what net you are playing at each week and tracks the team standings. The communication is really great - they send out emails communicating any weather cancellations or other important leagues news as it becomes relevant. Only downside - traffic to Wash park can be awful.
