There are not enough words to describe how phenomenal our first time experience was at Derby! We’ve only lived in Dallas a little over two years and have always passed Derby without a full idea of what the place is. For my husbands birthday I decided to make dinner reservations for us and the children. Immediately upon arrival we were greeted very warm and shown to our table. Prior to our server Bri introducing herself and getting us squared away with drinks multiple members of the staff walked by the table , spoke and engaged with our children. The food was amazing, we enjoyed every single item. The warm hospitality did not lack at any point. I snuck off to the car to retrieve my husbands cake and Bri didn’t hesitate to keep it cool for us while we finished dinner. The staff all signed a birthday card for my husband as well as continued to engage with us and make sure we were happy throughout the dinner experience . We were actually amazed at the thoughtfulness as well as the continued hospitality. We even were able to tour the cars and find out lots of fun facts and information, we were even more amazed at the memberships they offer and how beneficial it would be for my husband to join. I don’t think anyone could describe the Derby experience and I think everyone should have the experience on their own. We will be joining and we will make this a top spot for our out of town guests! Than you to the staff from the front door to the kitchen!

Overall the experience was good. We had a great server. The food was okay. I didn't care for the the chicken fried steak, it was tough. The cinnamon rolls were cold and tasted store bought. The omelet, potatoes, and biscuit were good. It would have been nice if the tour was complementary if you eat at the restaurant especially after spending $80.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was classy yet relaxed, perfect for a date night or a hangout with fellow car enthusiasts. I had an incredible burger topped with thick, flavorful bacon and perfectly crispy fries on the side. We also tried the chicken wings, which were super fresh and had just the right crunch. You can really tell they care about the quality of their food here. But the best part? We made a reservation to check out the exclusive car collection in their private garage. It’s an awesome experience for any car lover — rare, collector-grade vehicles parked like art pieces. A unique touch you won’t find anywhere else in Dallas. Highly recommend Derby’s for the food, the vibes, and of course — the cars! 🔥🍔🚗

Such a cool spot! It’s a restaurant inside a car club, which made the whole experience super unique. We ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and brisket grilled cheese, both were delicious. As a bonus we got to check out the car collection on a tour after eating. Definitely worth a visit!

1st time at Derby for my birthday. I loved the atmosphere. It was a big industrial size building with vintage and exotic cars and motorcycles. Tours of the cars on the weekend for $10. The food and service was good, priced fairly. And I got a free hot chocolate cookie and ice cream.
