I must mention this restaurant that is quaint, yet super clean and elegant. A fine establishment with very high-quality food service atmosphere and leadership. I felt like I was in Hong Kong, and I had to brush up on my Cantonese a little bit. Hands down of genuinely wonderful experience that I must repeat soon and I highly recommend everyone to check it out and it’s no secret. There was a large American group dining there. I was very happy to see that.

My family loves coming here for dim sum and dinner. This time we went for dinner and enjoyed every dish. Sauteed pork stomach/intestine was so good but be sure to tell them to use less salt. The honey cashew shrimp is like crack -- very sweet and addictive.

Overall Thoughts: This is a solid dim sum option on the outskirts of Chinatown, about a 20 minute walk from central Chinatown. As such, it’s a lot less crowded than the other dim sum spots in Chicago and was relatively empty when we went on a Sunday. It was also cheaper than other Chicago dim sum spots I’ve been to— it was just under $16 per person + tip for a group of 10. Overall, the food is good and tasty. They have all/most of the classics as well as a few unique items that I haven’t seen at other dim sum spots in Chicago, like the pork floss egg sandwich, which I really liked. Some of the dishes were a little cold though and they also forgot 1-2 of our orders, but it was fine; we were pretty stuffed anyways. Otherwise, the service was quick and efficient. — Price (relative to peers): 4.8/5 Food: 4.3/5 Ambience: 4.4/5 Service: 4.3/5 Overall Value: 4.3/5

Very authentic Cantonese dimsum and cheap meals. If you want the no frills and good food this is the place. Just look around you and you can see these are you aunties and uncles eating here. Not your cool friends from last nights club scene 🤣 You also won’t get the friendly and respectful service from the waitress. They want you to order without any stupid questions, eat fast, leave a decent tip and give the table to the next aunties.

Neat and small restaurant. Seated by ourselves per the hostess/ cashier and served with hot tea. I have to flagged to order. But Floor staffs were nice. Food arrived shortly after we placed. Classic, Tender, beef stew with rice noodle was savory. crunchy and crispy fried dough, plain unsalted congee was smooth and semi thick. Crispy fried shrimp rolls was good flavor. Creamy, mild sweet egg custard with flaky pastry. shrimp dumplings with 2 shrimps was cooked perfectly. Mild Hint of sesame paste cake served pipping hot. daikon cake was a little doughy, but you can taste small bites of daikon. Steamed bean curd rolls were a little too much celery for me. Steamed shrimp and peanut dumplings were ok. Beef tripes were crisp, not chewy. You have to ask for hot sauce. Take out: Baked bbq pork buns were too doughy, not much flavor of bbq pork. Pork floss was good with mayonnaise. Winter melon cakes were a little too doughy with mild sweetness. But the paper cupcakes were really good with mild sweetness.
