Service is friendly and quick, but make a reservation. A perfect spot for a fun, flavorful night out.

Had such a great experience at Din Tai Fung in Times Square! First off, the service was amazing. our server was incredibly attentive, friendly, and kind. You don’t always get that level of care in a busy spot like Times Square, so it really stood out. As for the food, everything we tried was delicious. The fried rice was the absolute standout. We ordered both shrimp and pork, and while both were solid, the shrimp fried rice was honestly to die for. So flavorful, perfectly cooked, and just super satisfying. The short rib was also amazing-tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The only downside was the portion size (a bit small), but definitely worth trying. We also started with the cucumber salad, which was crisp, refreshing, and a perfect appetizer to kick off the meal. And we couldn’t resist trying something different for dessert. the chocolate xiaolongbao. We weren’t sure what to expect, but it ended up being surprisingly so good. Warm, rich chocolate inside that soft dumpling shell—it was like a sweet little surprise at the end of the meal. Overall, super impressed. Great food, great service, and a nice spot to treat yourself if you’re around Times Square. Can’t wait to go back!
