Ordered the pesto grilled cheese with gluten free bread and vegan cheese - $14.89 - it was so small, I finished it in 4 bites. The vegan cheese was generic, sub par quality and the pesto was basically non existent. When i asked for extra pesto, they gave me a teaspoonful 5 mins (300 seconds) later, by then my sandwich was cold and the cheese rubber-y. They say their products are priced to give their employees a living wage, so does that imply they’ll skimp on product quality and quantity? I feel looted. And hungry. I can easily get a GF vegan meal from Next Level Burger right next-door for less than $14, with similar quality ingredients - its way more wholesome. Their coffee menu seemed good, but I didn’t try any.

Quiet, chill cafe. Blood orangeade in soda was amazing. All the art and pins/magnets/stickers for sale was really cute. You could pick up a book or board game here for some chill hang out time.

First off, 5/5 for coffee. It is incredible and excellent. I love their large selection of syrups. Large open area, it's very Seattle-core. It seems to be a boardgame gathering spot so can be busy on weekends. Friendly service, cleanliness is probably on the 4.5/5 side, quite a lot of crumbs on the tables when I looked. Wouldn't recommend their egg and cheese toast. It's nothing special and for $9 I feel you can get better food next door at the whole foods hot bar

Coffee was very good, I tried the house made honey cardamom flavor. Was just the right amount of sweetness , loved the drink No excessive tipping since the prices include the tips already .

I’ve been going to this nerdy coffee shop even through changes of management for the last 10 years or so. The people are gold. This space is queer owned and LGBTIA+ welcoming, it has a nerdy theme everywhere, and it is so fun to order a drink! They have rotating local art on the walls but also have a merch section with mugs, stickers, magnets, and more. They carry milk alternatives and have delicious bakery items. They’re tip free to support their employees and it’s refreshing to just see a price and not worry about calculating tip at the end. Finally, they have the best community events space. Check out their calendar in the shop for the ways they are connecting your local community. It’s all a short walk from the Roosevelt light rail station.
