We stopped by Dough Joy toward the end of the day, so the selection was a bit limited, but even with fewer options, the donuts were so good. I had the cookies & cream and the old fashioned, and both were delicious, soft, flavorful, and you’d never guess they were vegan. My husband ordered a coffee, and it came with a little donut hole on top! such a cute and thoughtful touch that made the whole experience even sweeter! I was hoping to try one of their glazed flavors, so I’ll definitely be back earlier next time to get the full lineup. Great vibes, great service, and a must-visit for anyone looking for vegan treats in Seattle.

8/1/25: I’m in Capital Hill every few weeks and today I had a half hour to kill so I ducked into Dough Joy for coffee & to see what the options were for donuts. The variety was breathtaking, but I settled on a Key Lime Pie powdered donut. I was in heaven. Absolutely the best donut I’ve ever had. Incredibly soft and the filling wasn’t sickly sweet. The drip coffee was pretty dang good too. Had a lovely time sitting at the counter & people watching. Well worth the extra cardio to knock off these calories!

Delicious all vegan donuts! It didn’t hurt that service was super friendly and the shop is very cute too. Hope to be back whenever in town to get some of their flavors that were out since I went towards the end of the day.

Decided to stop in on my way home from a stressful, early morning doctor’s appointment. The maybe 5 minutes I spent inside turned my whole morning around (maybe the donut had something to do with it too lol.) Overall perfect vibe, There was a small line when I arrived and the worker was blasting Marina, I got a maple bar for myself and two gluten free donuts for my partner who has celiac. I asked the worker about their celiac safety precautions and they let me know that they have a completely seperate bakery where the GF donuts are made!! They also seemed to take good care of not cross contaminating while serving donuts in store and keep them in an area away from the regular donuts! I also really appreciate the amount of gluten free options they provide, often times my partner is forced to just get whatever gluten free flavor is available. It’s really nice when they get a choice like everyone else! Overall, I can’t wait to come back here soon!
