We were in Seattle following a cruise and had the day to explore. We chose Dough Zone because we were in Chinatown. Dough Zone was right around the corner and had a great rating on Google. It did not disappoint! The interior is modern and inviting. Our server was warm and welcoming. The food was so good that I kept forgetting to take photos because I was so ready to dig in! We loved everything, but in particular the cucumber salad and dumplings. We also tries green onion pancakes for the first time, and those were terrific! Upon returning home to Louisiana, I discovered there are locations in Houston. It's already on the list for my next visit.

This haa been on my wishlist forever, and I finally went there last week—safe to say, I fell hard for this place. It totally lived up to the hype! I started with the sweet & sour cucumber and honestly… no words. It was so refreshing, tangy, and flavorful—definitely something I’ll reorder every time. Then came the shrimp zucchini dumplings, and these were the real showstoppers. They were not only fresh and delicious, but also had soup inside! I had so much fun biting gently, sipping the warm broth, and then eating the dumpling. That whole experience was just chef’s kiss. Now let me share a tip: they serve grated ginger for dipping, and I made my own little magic sauce by mixing equal parts soy sauce and vinegar, added in some chili oil and the ginger. Dipped those dumplings in it—and I swear, I was in heaven! I loved the place so much that I went to two different locations on back-to-back days (yes, it’s that good). On one day, I got the veggie spicy mala noodles, and on the next, I tried the dan dan noodles. Both were tasty and had great texture and heat, but I did notice a bit of a tingly, lingering aftertaste on my tongue. Not sure if it was the Szechuan pepper or chili oil, but it didn’t bother me enough to stop eating. Overall, the food was fresh, flavorful, and comforting, the vibe was casual but clean, and service was quick at both locations. Dough Zone has definitely become one of my top favorite spots, and I already can’t wait to go back in a few days. If you haven’t been yet—go. You’ll thank me later.

This food was beyond good! I have a had a lot of Dim Sum and this place was so tasty!! There parking right out back, it was $10 for an hour or street parking. The food came out fresh and hot. All of it had so much flavor!!
