My overall experience at Drinks was not positive. To start, they do not have enough parking. After waiting 10 minutes to park because I was meeting others who were already there I arrived inside. There was a live band that was WAY too loud. You couldn't have any conversation even in the furthest seats away. I got a skinny margarita that was way too sweet. Later, I tried to get water but the outdoor water jug was empty. I thought I would be helpful and bring it inside for them to fill up and the bartender was quite rude to me and didn't even offer to just fill my cup for the time being. I have a heart condition and need to stay hydrated and then was denied water at the bar and told to stand in line and wait. I ended up going back to my car for water so I didn't pass out in the 85 degree heat. This place may be okay during the week if it's more chill but definitely don't recommend on weekends. Edit: In response to the owner's reply.. I never said I was HAVING a medical emergency. I said that I have a heart condition and COULD have one. I shouldn't need to disclose my medical history to your staff to get some water. And yes, I went back to tell my friends that I was leaving to get water. And I was still holding my EMPTY water cup, not a drink. I went and sat and drank the water that was brought to me from the car. Your defensive response and lack of understanding ensures that I would not revisit this establishment. Please consider that access to water might be more important in Texas.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently visited **Drinks Backyard** in Southeast Austin and had an exceptional experience. The ambiance inside was cozy and intimate and the gorgeous espresso martini I was served did not disappoint. I moved out to the patio and was equally impressed by their refreshing watermelon margarita, comfortable amenities, and killer grunge playlist. I highly recommend Drinks Backyard for anyone looking for a great cocktail and a wonderful time. I can't wait to come back for a concert in their huge backyard this summer. 🍹 Update: Summer time in the backyard is legit. Bands, BBQ, and Beer. Try the banana pudding and "Texas Sun."

WE HAVE A WINNER! This is a new bar close to many neighborhoods, including ours. What a great bar! The vibe is so fun here! The service is top-notch. They play the best music inside and have bar games available. The drink menu is excellent, and they have a variety of bèers on draft. This bar has an outside sitting area with chairs, tvs, and a pool table. Outside, you can easily order food from 4 different food trucks: Smokin' Brew-B-Q, Brewski's Grill, Nocco's Napoletana & Plentiful. I definitely recommend this place. I enjoy coming because I always have a fun night with my husband and friends. Can't wait to go again!

Went once right after it opened and it was awesome. A+ cocktail and service. Went again last month and it was much expanded and busy. Still great service and cocktail. Went back last week and the bartender overcharged me and hassled me about going to go wash my hands after I ordered. No reason to go back after that. Edit to respond: Drink was 13 or 14$, I checked the menu. Paid with a $20, received $3.25 in change. I still tipped in case prices had gone up again since I was last there. Bartender pretended that he gave away my drink when I got back from washing my hands. He made some comments that I couldn't hear over the ambient noise before reaching back and procuring my drink. Neither of those events made me feel welcome and there are two things I didn't want because they'd spoil my ability to enjoy an evening drink, arguing over being overcharged, and having some kind of aggressive play-fight over whether or not I will receive my order.
